This item is WWII german original German Adler typewriter. Made by Adlerwerke vorm Heinrich Kleyer a.g Frankfurt, Model number 7. The Adler company built it's highly successful line of thrust-action typewriters on an original design by US inventor Wellington Parker Kidder (see Empire for the early history), that was marketed in Germany as the Adler 7 beginning in the 1890s. The Adlers company typewriter was use in Germans military. The condition of the item is great.
